Lorene Ann Tierney

Lorene Ann Tierney, 69 of Mission Viejo, CA passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in Escondido, CA. She was born on February 7, 1949 in Denver, Colorado to Richard Hubert Tierney and Helen Elizabeth Shanahan-Tierney. Lorene grew up, attending schools in Lakewood, Colorado and graduated from Alameda High School. Following her education, Lorene married and traveled, settling in California.

Lorene made her new home in California. She raised three children and built a life here. She worked and became a valued and respected team member at California Leak Detection. Lorene was also an active member of the Mission Viejo Elks Lodge where she volunteered, served in office and strived to make an important difference.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, and only daughter Michele Banning.

She is survived by two sons, Tommy (wife, Stephanie) Banning and Bobby Banning; two grandchildren Madilyn and Harvey; two sisters Debbie and Susie; loving aunts, nieces, nephew and cousins; and a host of close friends.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 1:30 PM at the Mission Viejo Elks Lodge, 25092 Marguerite Parkway, Mission Viejo, CA 92692 with a reception to follow.
