To the beautiful, loving,  strong-willed woman I knew as Grandma  Sally...
From the first  time I heard your voice til the day I met you the love for your family was apparent, from the excitement and joy in your voice when talking to Mike and Aubrey and eventually me  to the bright eyed smile  as our clan came through the door to visit you. Your smile is one that I will never forget it was genuine it truly was one that could change a bad day for anyone contagious like . You persevered through though times and remained one constant thing no matter what ....." LOVE" that's what this life is about. I will forever be grateful to have met the Woman who helped to shape Mike into the man he is today he has a great deal of LOVE in him and this stems from his family starting with you ❤ May you rest in peace renewed with eternal life in our makers kingdom , til we meet again ❤🙏 WE LOVE YOU LOTS ! 

I will miss my grandma...She was the best always helping and caring for her grandkids. Im gonna miss watching kung-fu movies with her, and everytime we would go out to eat with family she would always have to have leftovers no matter what.....Im gonna miss that!!! Grandma loved her some Kobe Bryant too....The thing im gonna miss the most is the holidays spent with my grandma she loved just having us family around,  wasnt a big family but it was enough for her and us!!! And also always in competition with my cousins for trying to give Grandma the best gift and become her favorite....But we all truly know whos favorite Grandma Sallys was Gilbert and shes with him now...Gilbert  I know you have been missing Grandma , and now its your time with her, and our time to miss her now....Take take of her Gilbert I miss you guys so much...and will always have a space in my heart and Ill never forget the great memories and times we had together.

My Mother 

There are so many great memories of my mother that I will treasure. One in which we were very poor at the time, so it was a treat when my mother would take me to the movies when I was kid on my birthday. I remember one of the movies in which we saw was The Cowboys with John Wayne. She loved John Wayne movies. She also helped me purchase my first car, a 1979 Chevy Camaro. I was on top of the world with that car. But what I would really appreciate later in life is the daily conversations that I had with her. My mom was always there for me no matter what the circumstance was. We would have conversations in the middle of the night till early morning. Those were the best times with her. My mom was/is my best friend. There are no number of words that can describe the pain I am feeling knowing I will never hear her voice again. I miss her already. 

I LOVE YOU MA, Till we meet again.

I am sorry to hear about Aunt Sally. I am glad she looks so happy in the pictures where she is surrounded by family. Us, Gilliland’s are very family oriented. I share your sorrow and pain of losing your mother. But know I hold you both dear in my thoughts, in my heart, and in my prayer. I am praying for all the family.
