

Odell Clark Jr., was born on July 15, 1942, in Navasota, Texas, to Odell Clark, Sr. and Stella Mae Clark. During his lifetime, he owned several businesses; a bar in Lake Jackson, a convenience store in the Acres Homes area, a janitorial service, and a landscaping service. He also worked as a manager and supervisor at a large retail grocery store, as well as a supervisor for a publications distribution company, where he traveled nationally for the company's business.
In his retirement, Odell continued his commitment to the community by serving as a crossing guard for a local elementary school.
Odell leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Delores Clark; daughters, Psharna Atkins (Errol) and Melony DeLoach (Joe); grandchildren, Corey Clark, Joe DeLoach III, Joshua DeLoach, Micah DeLoach, Derrick Atkins, and Toinesha Atkins (Eugene); great-grandchildren, Lennox DeLoach, Blaise DeLoach, Aysha Doucet, Davion Atkins, Morgan Duhon, and London Atkins.
He is also survived by four sisters and one brother—Lucinda Kossie, Linda Jenkins, Orbdella McLamb (Charles), Cynthia Griffin, and Charles Clark; bonus daughters, Pamela Lanes, Carol Kersee, Sherrill Blueitt, and Trena Howard, and long time best friend, Donald Burns; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives, friends, and classmates.
