Alan “Boaty” Campbell of Point Clear, Al passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday June, 15 at the age of 68. Boaty was a firefighter in Mobile for 30 years before retiring in 2002 as the fire boat pilot. Boaty spent his life, and made his living on Mobile Bay. Boatys greatest joy was donating his time and knowledge to helping others. He was a wonderful father and a loving husband. He will be sorely missed but he missed nothing.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Mary Agnes, father Pete, brother Archie, sister Donna and daughter Joanna.
He is survived by his wife Jolee, son Alan (Stephanie), son in law Ike Blake, grandchildren Eli and Myra, brothers Albert and Armand, Sisters Kay, Mary, Ethel and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Pine Crest Funeral Home, Mobile, Alabama. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Mobile, Alabama.
Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama
