

She is also preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Mary Keegan Neukom, her brother Eugene A. Neukom, and her sister Catherine T. Cooney. She was born on April 13, 1918 in Mobile, Alabama. She spent her life in loving devotion to her family. She had a deep and strong Catholic Faith, which carried her through all the times of her life.
Anna Marie is survived by her three children, Patrick Eugene (Annette) Nolan, Mary Ann (John) Galindo, and Michael Gerard (Rosalia) Nolan. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Patrick Nolan Jr., Darcy (Mathew) Van Ost, Kathleen Nolan, Hanna (Christopher) Bolling, Elliot Nolan, John Joseph Galindo Jr., Daniel Galindo, and great granddaughter Vivianne Van Ost.
A member of St. Pius X parish for over 50 years, Anna Marie Nolan has served the parish and the wider Catholic community throughout her 94 years. Among her many diverse activities, Anna Marie has been a Cub Scout leader, substitute teacher and tutor at St. Pius X school, and a member of the Ladies Sodality and Bereavement Committee, ACCW, Mobile Rose Society and Wednesday morning prayer group. She has also served as a Eucharistic Minister to the homebound, Leader of Eucharistic Adoration and Sponsor in RCIA.
Anna Marie has been an active volunteer and supporter of St. Mary's Home, the Little Sisters of the Poor and the Visitation Monastery where she graduated in 1936. She was known for her generosity, kindness and quiet presence. Anna Marie has been a model of virtue and spiritual friendship to three generations of the family of faith at St. Pius X Catholic Church and School. She recently was a recipient of the Christ the King Medal awarded by the Archdiocese of Mobile.
The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to all those who lovingly cared for her during her final years, especially Pat Sibley and her many caregivers.
The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, with a rosary at 6:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Mobile Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to the Visitation Monastery and St Pius X Catholic Church or School. She meant so much to many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
