Anna Fay Richardson, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grand-mother passed away September 26. 2018. She was born on October 9, 1923 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Edgar and Cecile LeBlanc Rouillier.
Fay married Archie Richardson on August 15, 1942 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Fay and Archie spent 76 beautiful years together.
Fay was an active member in Luke 4:18 Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama. She and Archie were instrumental in the foundation of the church, and attended services faithfully every week. Fay and Archie were members of Cottage Hill Baptist Church, Mobile, Alabama, for almost twenty years. They also took part in the foundation of Day Spring Baptist Church, Mobile, Alabama, where they served as members for about twelve years.
Fay worked with the United States Air Force in the procurement division, and retired from Hill Air Force Base in Ogden Utah after 30 years of employment.
Fay is survived by her husband Archie, their four sons Archie Jr, Tommy, Dave and Dan., twelve grandchildren, and twenty two great grandchildren.
Mom was a loving example to all of us, and we will miss her every day; until we meet again.
Services will be held Monday October 1, 2018 at Luke 4:18 at 2664 Sollie Rd, Mobile, Alabama at 11:00 am. A viewing for family and friends will proceed the services at the church at 10:00 am.
Interment will be at Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, Alabama following services at the church.
Honoring Fay as pallbearers will be Bob Richardson, Mark Richardson, Dr. Dandi Richardson Manda Prinds, John Paul Richardson, Morgan Foster and Tom Heim.
Memorials to honor Mrs. Anna Fay Richardson may be donated to the Joshua Building Fund of Luke 4:18 Fellowship 2664 Sollie Road, Mobile, Alabama, 36695 (251)281-1418.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Ursula Butler, Tomeka Fancher, Davelyn Coleman and Mary Jo Richardson for the prestigious care provided to Anna, making it possible for her to remain in the comfort of her own home. Archie never left Fay’s side, exuding the love and passion he has always rendered her.
