Anne Larkin Goode, born September 12, 1935, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2015. She was a native and lifelong resident of Mobile. She is survived by her nephew, David M. Sewell and his wife Paula R. Sewell of Wildwood, MO. She is also survived by cousins of the Miller family; Emily Miller Washburn of Atlanta, John Cleveland Hays Miller, III of Tuscaloosa, Edward Aubert Roberts Miller of Mobile, and Susan Ross Miller of Mobile. The family would like to thank Dentral Bolden and Cynthia Pledgers for their kind caregiving support to Ms. Anne. Anne Graduated from Newcomb College (Tulane) with a degree in English, and worked for the FBI in the Mobile field office until her retirement. You could tell Anne any secret and know that it truly would stay a secret; good FBI training. Anne was a lifelong member of the Junior League of Mobile and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. After her retirement Anne donated time to Meals on Wheels and of course playing bridge with close friends and family. She was a pet lover and gave wonderful lives to many dogs. Anne was a true lady that was the personification of Southern gentility. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 23rd at 11:00AM in the Little Church at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. The family asks that memorials be made to the Anne Larkin Goode Memorial Fund at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mobile for the support of the Little Church of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
