Annie Clara Lee Bush

May 11, 1929 - July 18, 2017

Annie Clara, affectionately known as "Mother" was born on May 11, 1929 in Mobile, AL to Mr. Nathanial Hawthorne, Lee Sr. and Mrs. Winona Lee. She was a graduate of the Mobile County Training School and maintained a successful career with the city of Mobile as the very first director of Texas Street Recreation Center. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Fred Bush, Jr.; 4 children, Fred (Lillian) James Bush of Mobile, AL ,Winona (Carl) Jefferson of Mobile, AL, Della Bush of Mobile, AL and Eric (Melissa)Trent Bush of Mobile, AL; 19 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren; a sister Alpha

Omega Lee and two brothers, Cleophus (Corrine) Lee of Huntsville, AL and Harper (Helen) Lee of Houston, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Annie Clara served as Jehovah's Witness throughout her entire life. She was a prominent member of the Kingdom Hall for Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mobile, AL. Visitation will be Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
