She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Jernigan; parents, Herman and Ethel Weldy; and sisters, Frances Johnson and Lucille Stone. Mrs. Jernigan is survived by her children, Kevin Leib and Kelly Wyatt (Hugh); brothers, Herman "Buddy" Weldy (Eloise), Horace Weldy, and John Weldy; sister, Mary Collins; grandchildren, Megan Skagen (Nick), Katlin Wyatt, Tiffany Clark, and Tucker Clark; great-grandson, Anthony Skagen; step-children, Buddy Jernigan (Penny), Lary Jernigan (Betty), Sheree Jernigan, Tammye Clark (Ray); numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 21, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
