Barbara Jean Pfister

Barbara Jean Lee Pfister, a native of Mobile, AL and longtime resident of Semmes, AL, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at the age of 79. She was employed by Radney and Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes for many years, and was a former member of Lott Road Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mattie Powell Lee; her husbands, Vernon Lee McDuffie and Douglas Charles Pfister;

her son, Michael Lynn McDuffie, and grandson, B.J. Parker. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Newbill, Connie (Mark) Bryant, Kay (Bobby) Parker and Jean Miller, all of Semmes, AL;

her son, Wayne McDuffie, of Spanish Ft., AL; her sisters, Roselle Twilley, of Daphne, AL, Gertrude Johnson, of Saraland, AL and Josephine Bryant, of Birmingham, AL; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at Fountain of Life Assembly of God Church, 1277 Jubilee Drive, Saraland, AL with funeral services at 2 PM officiated by
