Mrs. Betty Ann Cargill, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 13, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Aubrey Earl Cargill, parents, Floyd L. Lawrence and Omega G. Anthony, daughter, Carol Ann Cargill and brother, John L. Lawrence.
Mrs. Cargill worked for many years in administration for various retail companies to include, Gayfers/Holmes/Dillards and many years with S & H Green Stamps retail stores. Betty was known for her dedication and love of her work. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Tillman’s Corner. She will be remembered by family and friends as the “Ultimate” caregiver. She lovingly cared for her father, husband and daughter over a period of 20 years. She dedicated her life to their well being and care.
Betty is survived by her loving daughter and her husband, Catherine and A. John Mallory. She is also survived by special friends and caregiver, Kay Phillips Lacy , Sandra Sims and all of her special church friends, whose visits she loved.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy., Mobile, AL . Interment will be held in Pine Crest Cemetery.
