Betty Jean Hensley

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick T. Hensley; parents, Walter L. and Pauline Seldomridge Deffinbaugh and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Albert C. Hensley (Sheila), Stevie E. Horton (Norman), Dale E. Hensley (Alisa) and Danny W. Hensley (Lori); 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family wishes to express their extreme thanks to the nursing staff of Mobile Infirmary and the nurses of Kindred Hospice for the care and devotion to Mrs. Hensley.

In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital preferred.

Pallbearers will be Aaron E. Hensley, Jason D. Hensley, Matthew G. Hensley, Layton R. Gillespie, Kyle Horton, Tyler Hensley, Dylan Hensley and Johnny Hensley; Honorary pallbearers are Joey Hensley and Calvin Davis.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, Al. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Radney at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery West, Mobile, Al.
