Betty & Thomas Helm

Thomas and Betty Helm – longtime residents of Salina, KS and formerly of Bodines, PA., passed away. Thomas died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 and Betty died Friday, June 10, 2011 in Mobile, AL. Mr. and Mrs. Helm were members of the First United Methodist Church of Salina, KS. Thomas retired from Union Pacific Railroad and Betty retired from Salina Regional Medical Center. They are survived by their six children, Daniel (Janie) Helm of Salina, KS, Linda Helm of Mobile, AL, Beth (Walt) Stiffler of Boiling Springs, SC, Joye (David) Sisler of Corpus Christi, TX, Terri (Ray) Tolson of Salina, KS, and Tom (Kathy) Helm of Deerfield, NH; Tom’s brother, Chester Eugene Helm; Tom’s sister, Betty Kuna, both of Williamsport, PA; Betty’s sisters, Mary Phillips, Ann Evans, and Sandy Thompson; Betty’s brothers, Jerry Holdren and Cliff Holdren, all of Trout Run, PA; thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until 2 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date in Pennsylvania.
