Blanchard Montrose Guthrie Jr.

Blanchard Montrose Guthrie, Jr. was born October 5, 1928, in Mobile, Alabama to the late Blanchard Montrose Sr., and Emma Williams Guthrie. He was called home December 12, 2019 in Mobile, Alabama from a brief illness.

His parents preceded him in death, his beloved wife, Ellen June Lord Guthrie, two siblings: Virginia Iverson and Marvin Guthrie.

Left to cherish Blanchard’s memories will be his four children: Blanchard Guthrie III and wife Pixie Garcia, Becky Guthrie and husband Keith Locke, Gayle Guthrie and husband Quint Johnson, Colin Guthrie, one brother, Neal and wife Lamar Iverson, two granddaughters: Sarah Guthrie, and Jessica Henderson, one sister-in-law; Pat Guthrie, along with extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
