Brown was born in Grove Hill, Alabama to Brown Lee Horn Sr and Helen Robinson Horn on December 17, 1940. He attended Wilson Hall High School in Grove Hill, Alabama. He married Mattie Stallworth. He worked as a supervisor with Mobile Transit Authority for twenty- six years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brown Lee Horn Sr and Helen Robinson Horn and many family members. He is survived by his wife Mattie Horn, sons Stanley (Toni) Horn of Marietta, Georgia and Steven (Paulebia) Horn of Wilmer, Alabama, grandchildren Isaiah Alexander Horn, Stanley Horn Jr., Jackson Seth Horn and Anna Grace Horn. He is also survived by many relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to St. Catherine of Siena Parish.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am Saturday, February 22, 2025, at St. Catherine’s of Siena Parish, 2605 SpringHill Ave, Mobile, AL 36607, with Father Fred Boni of St. Catherine of Siena Parish. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery located at 800 Mobile Street in Mobile, Alabama.
