Dr. Carol McCall Davis – A native of Lincoln, Nebraska and resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021. Dr. Davis was a graduate of the University of Nebraska where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree. She also earned a Master’s Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a PhD from the University of Florida. She worked as a speech pathologist in nursing homes and hospitals for many years and was a faithful member and Sunday school teacher at Spring Hill Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Gulf Shores. She did research to develop programs for people who had speech and alcohol issues. Dr. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Genevieve Davidson McCall; and her brother, Robert McCall. She is survived by her daughter, Mandy Davis (Kevin) Wilburn of Andalusia, AL; her son, Josh Davis of Crestview, FL; grandchildren, Levi Wilburn, Dylan Davis, Cheyenne Davis, Troy Davis, Caleb Davis, Noah Davis, and Judah Davis. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 10 a.m. from Radney Funeral Home in the Bienville Room. Graveside services and interment will follow at 11 a.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
