Carol Jean Stevens

Carol J Stevens (Allen),72, went to be with our Lord on Monday ,March 20,2017 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center Reading, Pa. She was born on March 6,1945 in Mobile to the late Leroy and Leona Allen. She retired from the Mobile Corrections Center in 2013. She lived in Mobile for 69 years, the last 3 years she lived in Pennsylvania with her daughter and family.

Surviving are her children, daughter Sharon Dement wife of Scott Dement ( Grand Bay) step-son Mike Stevens husband of Donna Stevens (Clara Ms.) son Ronald Stevens husband of Cindy Stevens (Cocoa Beach Fl.) son Joseph Stevens (Mobile) and daughter Melissa Kocher (Stevens) wife of Larry Kocher (Hamburg Pa.) Also surviving are her siblings, Diann Allen wife of Robert Allen (Mobile), Larry Allen husband of Betty Allen (Columbus, Ga), Lillian Hudman (Allen) wife of Dewey Hudman (Port St.Lucie ,Fl) and Sandra Ward (Allen) wife of Mark Ward (Mobile). She dearly loved all of her 13 grandchildren,9 great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grand daughter Leona Kocher.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Monday, March 27 at Radney Funeral Home with her nephew Kenny Stevens officiating. There will be a public viewing from 9am-10am.
