Catherine Theresa Schnadelbach

Mrs. Catherine S. Schnadelbach – a native of Brooklyn, NY and a resident of Grand Bay, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Schnadelbach was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Grand Bay, AL and retired from Gayfer’s Department Store. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mannie Schnadelbach; one son, Steve Schnadelbach; and her sister, Ginger Scalzo. She is survived by six children, Linda S. (Jim) Nichols of Walnut Grove, AL, Louise S. Williams of Petal, MS, Ann S. (Mike) Weatherly of Grand Bay, AL, Jackie S. (Sam) Clark of Grand Bay, AL, Julie S. (Tommy) Sheppard of Grand Bay, AL, and Clay (Fran) Schnadelbach of Mobile, AL; thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and other relatives. The family would like to thank special caregiver Ms. Janice and the staff of Asera Care Hospice for their love and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Grand Bay, AL. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. on Wednesday at the Church. Interment will be in Grand Bay Cemetery.
