Catherine Adelaide Duke Wilton

Mrs. Wilton was the last of her siblings in the Duke family. She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Van Emerson Wilton.

Mrs. Wilton is survived by five children, Charles Vernon (Carol) Wilton of Auburn, AL, Mary Jo (Mike) Adams, Deborah Agnes (Robert) Johnson, David Van (Linda) Wilton, all of Mobile, AL, and Catherine Elizabeth (Leslie) Strikmiller of Covington, LA; twenty-one grandchildren, forty-five great-grand-children, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, with the Rosary at 7 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at St. Dominic Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the Cystic Fibrosis Society, the Autism Society, or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. A special thank you to hospice in Alabama and Louisiana for their loving care.
