Charles was the only child born to Wilburn Boyce Hall and Euna Mae “Eunice” McNeil Hall on April 2, 1937, in Repton, Alabama. He grew up in Mobile surrounded by his cousins and uncles. Charles had a career in sales for over thirty years, eventually retiring from Kar Products. He loved Mardi Gras and was a member of multiple mystic societies in Mobile over the years. Charles enjoyed playing golf, playing cards, and watching football – especially the Alabama Crimson Tide and New Orleans Saints.
Charles was a wonderful provider and protector for his family. He was always the life of the party. Shouts of “Charlie Hall!” could be heard in any room he entered. He loved having a good time, and his mantra was, “If I can’t have a good time I ain’t going!”. Charles was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
In his passing, Charles joined his loving wife of 37 years, JoAnn Hall; his son, Chuck Hall; father, Wilburn Hall; and mother, Eunice Hall.
Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Steve Hall (Kayla) of Alabaster and Keith Hall (Tami) of Irvington; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as other cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Charles will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Acting as pallbearers will be: Cole Hall, Nick Hall, Scott Hall, Stanley Ward, Ronnie McNeil, and Jacob Cotton.
