Charles Walter Hays – a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL passed away at his home on December 6, 2012. He was preceded in death by parents, Walter G. Hays and Charlie Lerline Boggan Hays; wife, Jacqueline Davis Hays; and daughter, Dana Michelle Hays. Mr. Hays is survived by his son, Timothy G. Hays; daughters, Vicki (Warren) Stanley, Terri (Robert) Cox, and Bonita Price; grandsons, Christopher (Heather) Stanley, Jeffrey (Sarah) Stanley, Richard Price, Jr., and Johnathan Hays; granddaughters, Michelle Cox (Matt) Harlen, Jacqueline (James) Adams, Robin (Devin) Reed, Whitney (Laythan) Cloke, and Ashlyn Hays; nine great-grandchildren; lifelong best friends Steve Lampe and JoAnn Orso; countless friends; and his loving pet, “Sugar Boy.” Graveside services will be held in Mobile Memorial Gardens on Monday, December 10, 2012, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Amercian Cancer Society, 900 Western America Cir., Ste. 101, Mobile, AL 36609.
