Chris Evangelo Nicholas

Chris Evangelo Nicholas – loving brother and uncle, a 77 year-old lifelong resident of Mobile passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011. Mr. Nicholas was a retired longtime sales representative. He was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and a local mystic society and was an avid golfer. Mr. Nicholas will always be remembered as a loyal friend. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Nicholas, and brother, Lucas E. Nicholas. Mr. Nicholas is survived by his sister, Helen Nicholas Damaskos; nieces and nephews, Angela N. Sledge, Chris L. Nicholas, Lucas E. Nicholas, Jr., Constantine J. Damaskos, and Kathryn D. Damaskos; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. with the Trisagion service being held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held from Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday, April 27, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
