Christopher Kenneth Huggins

Christopher Kenneth Huggins, born May 4, 1969, in Trenton, NJ., died peacefully at his home on January 9, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Kara Jane Huggins (Barker) and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He worked for many years in the construction business and was the owner of Huggins Drywall contracting company. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth S. Huggins. He is survived by his wife and three children, Brittany Guidry, Meghan Huggins and Trenton Huggins; and two grandchildren, Carson and Noelle. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Huggins, brother Michael Huggins, and sister Susan Nabors. He leaves a loving extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at 2:00 in the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL , with visitation at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Wilmer Hall Children’s Home, 3811 Old Shell Rd. Mobile, AL 36606.
