Crystal Lee Elliott

Crystal Lee Elliott, 41, lost her courageous battle against ovarian cancer on Wednesday, May, 1, 2013. Born June 21, 1971, in Odessa, Texas, she lived most of her life in Mobile, Alabama. She leaves behind mother, Audrey Seddon; grandfather, Thomas Irvin; aunt, Marquita Rodriguez; uncle, Rey Rodriguez; nephew, Joshua Thomas Rodriguez; brother, Christopher Pool; sister-in-law Jennifer Pool; and niece, Caylee Pool. She also leaves behind special friends Tracy Reed, Katie C. Lewis, Laura Reid, Rebecca Reese, godson Joseph Lewis, and many supportive friends including the board members and volunteers at Teal Life. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Tessie Irvin. Crystal was the owner of Tessie Lee's Cafe in Mobile. She was also the founder of Teal Life Foundation, an ovarian cancer awareness charity. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Teal Life, found at www.teallifefoundation.org. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery West, on Snow Road.
