

Cynthia Sue Simmons Bogert-Nemeth of Mobile, age 53, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011, in a local hospital after a long battle with cancer. She was a graduate of Shaw High School and the University of South Alabama with a Masters degree.
Cynthia was preceded in death by a former husband, Dr. Christopher Bogert; her sister, Carol; her mother, Jane Jackson Simmons; and her stepbrother, Dan Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Bogert and Kimberly Nemeth; grandson, Ryan; granddaughter, Hayleigh; her father, Brad (Elizabeth) Simmons; three brothers, Mark (Ashley) Simmons, Brad J. Simmons and Paul (Tanya) Simmons; two sisters, Pamela Douglas and Cathy (Jeff) Deushcle; four stepbrothers, William (Debbie) Johnson, Richard Johnson, Ronald (Betty) Johnson, and Keith Johnson; two stepsisters, Renee (Skip) Stevens and Melanie Edwards; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street.
