David James Garrett, Sr., age 40, beloved son, brother, father and grandson, passed away on March 4, 2014. David was a resident of Mobile, AL. He worked for Ward International for the past eight years. He is survived by his mother, Shirley (David) Wainwright, of Mobile, AL; maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Marcell C. Corlett, Sr.,of Mobile, AL; father, James (Jennifer) Garrett, of Dauphin Island, AL; paternal grandmother, Sara Nell Garrett, of Oneonta, AL; sister, Jennifer (Mark) Rust, of Houston, TX; brother, Marcell Garrett, of Mobile, AL; two sons, David James Garrett, Jr. and Chase Michael Garrett, both of Mobile, AL; other relatives and many friends. David was a former member of Mobile Mystic Mardi Gras Association, loved to ride his motorcycle, spend time with his sons and was devoted to his family and friends. Funeral services will be from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10 AM. Visitation will be Saturday from 8 to 10 AM.
