MARCUS, DIANE PATTERSON Passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 29, 2013 in Mobile, AL. She was born Diane Vivian Paterson in Pensacola, FL on June 6, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Van Marcus in September 2010. She is survived by her children, Ferrell M. Stanford (Lee) of Mobile, AL, Van Marcus, III. (Dee) of Mobile, AL, Melanie Marcus Sims (Jesse - deceased) of Pensacola, FL; two grandchildren, Jessica Diane Sims of Boston, Massachusetts, and Van Marcus IV of Mobile. Interment will be next to her husband at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham with graveside services at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
