

Dolores Oberkirch Beckelic Link – an 84 year-old native and resident of Mobile passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Frankie Lou Ingram Oberkirch and James Harvey Oberkirch. She was a graduate of Bishop Toolen High School Class of 1948. She married the late Earl Carson Beckelic (Chief Master Sergeant, Retired), a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force, on December 16, 1950, traveling the world on assignments with him. In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Roy James Link, and brothers, Reverend Monsignor James Wesley Oberkirch and H. Vaun Oberkirch. She is survived by her beloved children, Deborah Ann Pyle (Kory), Linda Kaye Tysinger (Wayne), Karen Marie Dixon (Chuck), and Michael Edward Beckelic (Kathy); six grandchildren, Tara Dawn Stanaway Heath (Robert), Lance Cameron Stanaway, Arthur Lee Tysinger (Maryann), Bethany Ann Beckelic Dryden (Wayne), Robert Edward Beckelic, and Rachel Elizabeth Beckelic; nine great-grandchildren, many other relatives and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of the Mass. Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1655 McGill Ave., Mobile, AL 36604 or the
