Doris Nell Lassiter

Mrs. Doris Nell Williams Lassiter, age 81. A native of Franklin County, Mississippi and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Sunday, February 27, 2011. She was a member of Cypress Shores Baptist Church, was a former employee of Hammels Department Store (downtown), D.H. Holmes and retired from Dillards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Lassiter, Jr.; sons, Lonnie Dale Lassiter and Randall Lynn Lassiter. She is survived by her son, Lavon (Helen “Rena”) Lassiter; siblings, Harper (Carolyn) Williams, Edna Irby; grandchildren, Lavon Lassiter, Jr., Randall Brian Lassiter, Samuel Stephen (Amy) Lassiter; great grandchildren, Gracie Lassiter, Jullian , Gracie and Breeana . Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral Arrangements under the direction of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.
