Dorothy Ann Warr Dowell

Dorothy Warr Dowell, a lifelong resident of Mobile, passed away on Tuesday. She was preceded in death by her son, Devon Dowell; mother, Bruneeze Crutchfield; and three brothers, Emmett, Bubba and David Warr. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Curley Dowell; one daughter, Lola (Earl) McGallagher; two sons, Devoy (Amy) Dowell and Delane Dowell and daughter-in-law, Allison Jones; her father, Dewey Crutchfield; one sister, Linda (Elvis) Weatherly; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; special great-niece, “KK” Warr, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family members. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 12 noon. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 to 8 PM.
