Dorothy Irene Meyer, 95, passed away on October 28, 2016. She was born in Mobile to Ollie and Lottie Floyd, but was a long-time resident of The Woodlands, Texas. She was the set-up bookkeeper at the Astrodome, head bookkeeper for Executive Motel Suites, ran Meyers RV with her husband Walter Meyer, worked for WDLT radio and television chain as the head accountant, worked at Hills Hospital in York, Alabama, and drove a bus with Mobile City Lines in Mobile. Mrs. Meyer was a graduate of Geiger Alabama High School in Livingston, Alabama. She is survived by her son, Bill Williams of Mobile; her daughter, Victoria (Richard) Tucker of The Woodlands, Tex.; grandchildren, Victoria Bosarge and Joy Williams of Mobile, Lane Williams of North Carolina, Tiffany Tucker and Richie Tucker of Houston, Tex.; five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and her beloved sister, Joyce A. Chandler of Mobile.
