Dorothy Mae Boyd Tuggle

Dorothy Mae (Boyd) Tuggle, born March 7, 1927, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 5, 2014 at the age of 86 years. She was a native of Dora, AL, and a resident of Mobile, AL for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Minnie Lee (Melhorn) Boyd; her husband, Carl John Tuggle, Jr.; and two brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by two sisters: Minnie Lee Hall of Birmingham, AL, and Doris Burns of Houston, Texas; four sons: Kenneth W. Tuggle ( Flora), Edward E. Tuggle (Carolyn), Charles D. Tuggle (Tammy), and Carl John Tuggle, III (Debbie); nine grandchildren: Tracy (Frank), Ken (Roxanne), Judson, Melinda, Michelle, Lesley (Dean), Meredith (Marques), John, and Troy; and 8 great grandchildren: Stephanie, Sydney, Drew, Dominick, Christopher, Katlyn, Reese, and Grady.

She was a charter member of the Saraland United Methodist Church.
