She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Earl Dixon; her only daughter, Brenda Dixon Dyess (Johnny); grandchildren, Christie Dyess Caylor (Terry), Russell Dyess; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Page, Jacob Page, and Sloane Dyess; one great-great granddaughter, Tacey Bennett; two sisters, Joan Tipton (Tommy) and Annette Byrd, one brother, John Darrell Bang (Linda); nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her “Bonus” family, Debbie Fulford, Scott Sheffield (Pam), Lena McMichael and Brody Livingston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Bang, brother, Alton Bang, sister-in-law Patricia Bang, and brother-in-law, R. D. Byrd.
The family would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of love and sympathy, and Southern Hospice for the compassionate care and service to our family.
