Edwin Gerard Booth Sr.

Mr. Edwin Gerard Booth, Sr., age 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Laura Sanders Booth, brother, Herbert Booth Jr., sister, Gloria Schmidt and sister-in-law, Inez Booth. Mr. Booth served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He retired after 20 years of service with Robinson Brothers as a Body Shop Manager. Mr. Booth loved showing quarter horses, fishing and enjoying his labs. His friends and family will remember him as genuinely a “Good Man” who never met a stranger and who loved his family dearly. Mr. Booth is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty Booth, daughter, Linda Shekouh (Kaivan) and son, Edwin Booth, Jr. (Judy). He is also survived by his grandchildren; Alex Shekouh, Marcus Shekouh, Curtis Balfour (Kristen), great- granddaughter, Abigail Balfour and nephew, Herbert Booth, III (Bobbi). Graveside services will be held at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be offered to the St. Mary’s Home, 4350 Moffett Road, Mobile, AL 36618.
