Elizabeth Webb Mallory - 89, passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends on Friday, November 19, 2010. A dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a retired nurse with over 20 years of caring service at Ideal Nursing Home. She loved to fish and was well known for her great cooking and love of sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and Alabama football. Mrs. Mallory was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 62 years, Charles H. Mallory, Sr.; her parents, George and “Maw” Webb; her daughter, Mary Louise; three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her sons, Charles H. Mallory, Jr. (Kathy) and James P. Mallory (Linda); one sister, Frances Stitcher of Panama City, FL; seven grandchildren, Mike Mallory (Beth), Chuck Mallory, Angie Chandler (Brent), Amy Boyce (John), Sue Biggs, Blake Yerkes and Matthew Lovitt; seven great-grandchildren, Justin, Mallory, Reid, Caroline, Hollis, Abigail and Christopher; and devoted friends, Karen Presnall and Frieda Brodbeck; nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family would especially like to thank those involved in her care, Karen Presnall, Infirmary Hospice and Dr. Allan Seibert. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 22, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral Home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery West.
