Elsie Collins Collins Lilley

Elsie Collins Lilley – Born September 25, 1913, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 in a local health care facility. She was a lifelong member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Mrs. Lilley was the last surviving member of the 1931 graduating class with the Convent of Mercy. She attended Spring Hill College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Lilley; parents, Charles W. and Ethel Collins, Sr.; and brother, Charles W. Collins, Jr. Survivors include three children, Don Lilley, Maidon (Gordon) Alidor and Michelle (Fred) Moore; three sisters, Nell Ruth Collins Schiebler, Lois Collins Brasell and Hazel Collins Callaway; seven grandchildren, Jason (Gail) Alidor, Brad (Brandy) Alidor, Lindsay (Sgt. Daniel) Marston, Traci (Michael) Trawick, Melanie Langley, Paul (Christa) Rowse and Michael Lilley; nine great-grandchildren, Jessica Langley, Tyler Cox, Breanna Trawick, Lilley, Jase and Chloe Alidor, Mark, Aiden and Morgan Rowse; one great-great-grandchild, Kassidy Cox; and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. from Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
