Emory L. Terry

Mr. Emory L. Terry, age 83, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Daisy Y. Terry and sisters Margie Bumpers and Barbara Himid. Mr. Terry graduated from Coffeeville High School in 1949 and Auburn University in 1954 at the top of his Engineering class. He was employed for over 20 years in the engineering business and later in private business with Earthco for over 20 years. He was an active member of Kingswood United Methodist Church for many years, serving as a Deacon and in the last 10 years was an active member of Woodridge Baptist Church. Mr. Terry is survived by his wife of 13 years, Bonnie Faile Terry, his children, Craig E. Terry, Kendrick A. Terry and Steven L. Terry. He is also survived by his siblings, Elizabeth Counselman (Jimmy), Sharon Terry, John Terry, Kenneth Terry (Krysta), Gilmer Terry and his grandchildren Chilton Jacob Terry, Joseph Emory Terry, Justin Terry and Sarah Terry. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Chapel services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest West Cemetery, Snow Rd., Mobile, AL. Pallbearers will be Joe Terry, Jake Terry, Matt Stewart, Ronnie Craft, Jerry Ham and Ridge Ham.
