Eugene Harold Broadway

Mr. Eugene Harold Broadway, born on May 19, 1921 in Mobile, Alabama died on Friday, December 16, 2011. He was a graduate of Murphy High School, served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre and achieved the rank of Captain. Mr. Broadway, a longtime homebuilder, was very active in Cottage Hill Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member and deacon, and most recently at Luke 4:18 Fellowship. He was loved by all for his generosity and friendly disposition. He was preceded in death by one son, Elden Scott Broadway. He is survived by his wife Josephine Lindsey Broadway; two daughters, Vickie Lynn Broadway, Jodie (Jerry) Leslie; son, Randy (Janey) Broadway; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 12 noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Luke 4:18 Fellowship Building Fund.
