Faye Evans Morrow

She was born June 23, 1929, in Nola, Mississippi, the daughter of the late John Frank and Velta Labat Evans. She was the oldest of seven siblings. She was employed 45 years as Comptroller and Office Manager of U-J Chevrolet in Mobile.

Her life was devoted to her two children, Linda Morrow Richardson (John) and Billy Ronald Morrow (Lynnell Cooper) who survive her. She is also survived by her siblings, Ralph Evans (Harriett), Gwen Evans Rowe and Glenn Evans (Ethel).

She was preceded in death by her brother, Shelby Carroll Evans and two sisters, Minnie Elizabeth Evans and Jan Evans Andrews (Vernon).

Ms. Morrow's six grandchildren are: Sheree Kirkland Legg (Stephen), Chad Kirkland, Julie Morrow Eiler (Brian), Abby Richardson (Zach Williams), Leigh Richardson Hurley (Andrew), and Ryan Morrow (Virginia); and ten great-grandchildren: Challey Legg, Mason Legg, Noa Kirkland, Jackson Kirkland, Marigrace Kirkland, Cole Eiler, Sylvia Hurley, Laura Hurley, Joseph Williams, and Cecilia Drew Williams.

Private family services will be Monday, September 5th at St. Paul's Episcopal Chapel with burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Child Advocacy Center, 1351 Springhill Ave., Mobile, AL 36604, or the American Lung Association, 1302 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, D.C.
