Frances attended Perkinston College and also studied four-handed dentistry. She worked as a dental assistant prior having children and again after her daughters were in high school. She began her sales career in 1987 working for Gayfers, later moving to D. H. Holmes and retiring from Dillards in 2006. Anyone who knew Frances knew her world revolved around her family. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her girls, grandchildren and great-granddaughters. Her heart was so full when she was with her family. She also enjoyed her rose garden. Her beautiful roses were as large as a person’s hand and so fragrant. You could always find a long stem rose on her coffee table.
