Mr. Frank Roscoe Obert

Frank R. Obert, 77, a life-long resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He retired from Scott Paper Company/Kimberly Clark with 38 years of service. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank F. Obert and Cora Mae Obert; brother, Elmore Obert; and two sisters, Dot Davis and Peggy Simmons. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of forty-one years, Marsha White Obert; three daughters, Karen (Tracy) Sweatt, Amber Batchelor, and Deborah (Robert) Pounder; two grandchildren, Ashlyn (Mark) Pickern, and Keith Batchelor; brother, Ed (Barbara) Obert; sisters, Paulette (Elie) Merritt, JoAnn (James) Bradford and Evalyn Lovell; father-in-law, R. B. White, Sr.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family. The family would like to extend special thanks to the following: Dr. William J. Schulte, Cardiology Associates, Springhill Medical Center, and Springhill Home Health Agency for the exceptional care provided to our husband, dad, and paw paw. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and the Funeral Service Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow. All services will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway.
