She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Nettie Chapa, and siblings, Ruben Chapa, Jr., Ronald Chapa, David Chapa, Daniel Chapa, Nettie Prine, Barbara Kirksey, and infant sister, Charlotte Fay Chapa. Ms. Chapa is survived by her sister, Gloria Chapa; special friend, Karen Hoard; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the graveside in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. A visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 2-3:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
