A daughter of the late Luther Earl Owen and Francis Carolyn Hanks, she was born July 7, 1936 in Lumberton, Mississippi. She retired from International Paper Company, where she worked for 30 years. She enjoyed reading, fishing, puzzle solving and spending time with family.
She is survived by her children, Edward H. Morrison, Carol Morrison Martin, Jane McGlothren and Clayton Campbell, brother Charles Owen, nieces, nephews and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Ilaree Cassella.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 12 until 2 pm followed by a chapel service at Pine Crest Funeral Home located at 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, Alabama with graveside services to follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens located at 8691 Old Pascagoula Road in Theodore, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations for Jeanette be made to the charity of your choice or to Houston Hospice.
