

Georgia Ann Creel Bronson died peacefully May 12, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Atlanta attorney Milton "Mike" Bronson; son, Christopher "Chris" Bronson; and nephew Deputy Todd McQuillan. Georgia was born May 23, 1939 in Hattisburg, MS to George Edward Creel and Ava Brewer Creel (Ingram). She and her sister, Wanda, were raised in Mobile, AL by Ava Ingram and James "Skeeter" Ingram. Georgia attended and graduated from the Convent of Mercy High School (Class of 1957). Georgia was an outgoing and friendly person who loved to laugh and entertain. She liked to garden, travel and cheer for the University of Alabama football team (Roll Tide!). She raised her family in the Atlanta, GA area, but always considered Mobile "home". She was happy to live her last few years at "home" in Mobile enjoying the beautiful warm weather, azaleas in the spring, being close to the Gulf of Mexico (her favorite vacation spot), and visiting with family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Wanda (and Gordon) Cassity; 3 children: Ava Amos, David (and Lori) Bronson and Leslie Bronson; 8 grandchildren: Travis (and Joyce) Morrison, James "Bo" Henry Amos, Taylor (and Grayson) Davis, Chandler (and Rachel) Bronson, Max Bronson, Evan Bronson, Richard Bronson and Lauren Bronson; 3 nephews: John (and Shannon) McQuillan, Bill (and Shannon) McQuillan, Tom (and Sherri) McQuillan; and much extended family. The funeral service will be Friday, May 22 at 11:00am at Little Flower Catholic Church, 2053 Government St, Mobile, AL with Father John Lynes officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 22 at 9:30am at the church. She will be interred at Whistler Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
