Gladys Yvonne Bradley, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Mobile, Alabama. She was born to Coley and Ruby Andrews on September 18, 1934, in Grove Hill, Alabama. Gladys met and married Norman Warner Bradley – to whom she was married for 66 years – before his death in 2019. They lived in Slidell, Louisiana for a time before they settled in Mobile, Alabama. Gladys was a terrific wife and mother. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her children. She worked for over 10 years at Lynnwood Nursing Home in Mobile. When her daughter was in a car accident and paralyzed at 28, Gladys took over her caregiving for ten years before her passing. She loved shopping, loved her family, and loved Heavenly Father. Gladys was a generous soul and will be greatly missed.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Warner Bradley and her daughter, Annette Bradley.
She is survived by her three sons: Norman Wayne Bradley, Richard Earl Bradley, and Larry Eugene Bradley; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as other cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Gladys will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, Alabama, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
