Gladys Mae Armistead Lee – a native of Lasca, AL and lifetime resident of Mobile, AL passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 in a local health care facility. She was a longtime member of Bethany Baptist Church. She is survived by three children, Jim Armistead (Miss Ann), Lula Jean Hepstall and Willo McWhirter; one sister, Margie Cross (Frank); five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church Building Fund, 6145 Hwy. 45, Eight Mile, AL 36613.
