2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 29,
1953, in Bayou La Batre, AL.
Greg was predeceased by his parents, Quentin and Dorothy (Sprinkle) Patronas; his sister,
Rose O’Dae Noel; brother-in-law, Steve Noel; sister-in-law, Elaine Patronas and great
niece, Hope Casart.
Greg is survived by his siblings Colin (Esther) Patronas, Roland Patronas, Gloria (George)
Warden, Janelle Patronas, and Cary (Jackie ) Patronas; 11 nieces and nephews, Shana
(Curt) Dorsey, Todd (Sabine) Patronas, Deana (Boyd) Silver, Stephanie (Rick) Penix, Eric
(Julie) Patronas, Carl (Laurie) Patronas, Holly Casart, Michelle Patronas, Janna (Jason)
Jones, Chad (Thell) Patronas, and Scott (Tiffany) Noel; 23 precious great nieces and
nephews; many cousins and friends.
Anyone who knew Greg felt his big heart and loving nature. Greg was truly devoted to
his family and friends and enjoyed spending quality time with each one of them. He will
be greatly missed by his family and friends with whom he shared many special moments
at family celebrations, football parties, Mardi Gras events, family vacations and holidays.
Greg was a huge fan of Alabama Crimson Tide Football, an active member of a Mobile
Mardi Gras Association, the most impressive history buff around and was active on a dart
league for many years.
Services will be on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Dauphin Island United
Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Dauphin Island Community Cemetery.
