
Harmon Clifton Perryman – a 94 year-old native of Ovett, MS and longtime resident of Mobile passed away Friday, November 30, 2012. He was the former of owner of Perryman’s Refrigeration Service in Mobile. Mr. Perryman retired from Tyndall A.F.B. after 26 years in the civil service. He was a former resident and mayor of Mexico Beach, FL where he attended Beach Baptist Chapel and served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church for the past 16 years. Mr. Perryman enjoyed fishing and golfing with family and friends and formerly served as a Bible Study leader at the Waterfront Rescue Mission. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Wesley Perryman and Naomi Ruth Tucker Perryman; sister, Juanita Bitterman; and brothers, Terrell Perryman and Harold G. Perryman. Mr. Perryman is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Marjorie Ladnier Perryman; children, Carol P. Davis and Bruce Perryman (Debbie); grandchildren, Timothy Davis (Dona), Heather Cowan, Justin Perryman (Erin), and Emily J. Pate (Adam); 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The Perryman family would like to express its gratitude to the staff of AseraCare Home Health and Hospice. “You all were a bright spot in his day.” Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, December 3, 2012, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
