Harvey Jackson

Harvey Jackson – an 88 year-old resident of Semmes passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012. He was retired from Ingall’s Shipbuilding after 30 years of service and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Dan & Lila Jackson, and brothers, J.D. Jackson, Harry Jackson, and Bernard Jackson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mazie Jackson; children, Joyce Jackson, Carol Hinson (Dwayne), Charlotte Greer (Harold), Julie Driskell (Richard), and Cindy Herman (Terry); grandchildren, Robbie Gordon (Stephanie), Brent Gordon (Erin), CPO Dwayne Hinson, USN (Sheila), Alyson Hinson, Heather Atchison, Ali Greer, Hope Driskell, Craig Herman (Brittany), and Chase Herman; great-grandchildren, Hanna Gordon, Justin Hinson, Ethan Gordon, Emily Hinson, Olivia Gordon, Morgan Atchison, and Mallory Atchison; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. chapel funeral service. Interment will follow in Allentown Cemetery.
