Helen Margaret Windham Dimoff

(1926-2017)

A native of Laurel, MS, and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband; Ernest Dimoff, parents; Mr. and Mrs. B.H. Windham, brother; James E. Windham and sister; Mrs. Robert K. Harp. Mrs. Dimoff was a retired administrative assistant for Military Officials of Brookley Airforce Base. She was elected as President of the Masonic Ladies’ auxiliary of which she was also chosen to serve at their National Convention. An avid golfer, seamstress and instructor of fine handwork stitchery. A twenty-five year Volunteer of the USA Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, a member of Journey-in-Faith Sunday school Class, church greeter and member Of the Good Samaritan Committee. Mrs. Dimoff was a weekly volunteer at the Recreation Ministry of Christ United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Randal (Loy) Dimoff of Mobile, AL, and Jeffery (Pam) Dimoff of Gulf Shores, AL, and 5 grandchildren, Julie (Randy)Hutchinson, Justin (Megan) Dimoff, Jenna Dimoff, Amanda (Jamie) Brinson, Andrew (Kristy) Malone, and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at Radney Funeral Home Chapel, 3150 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL, at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Graveside to be held at 11:30 A.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6100 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials for Mrs. Dimoff may be made to” Recreation Ministry Fund” of Christ United Methodist Church, 6101 Grelot Road, Mobile, AL, 36609.
